That's right folks, I strongly believe this year is THE year for OCTs! They're every where and it's hard not to at least try one out! And that's what I'm planning this year, to get into at least one of them! Other than school work, I want to be a part of some thing that I can test my abilities as an artist and to be a part of the community! I even have a list of OCTs that I want to try out.

The list consists of OCTs and why I want to be part of theses tournaments. This list is in order of the deadlines of each OCT I wish to get into:


1. <--- Monochrome Markets

Deadline: Feb 1
Reason as to why?: I want to join mostly to introduce a character that I haven't used in a long while and to improve my comic skills. Highly doubtful I'll make the deadline, but I would like to see how the tourney goes none the less.

2. <--- Escape From Nevara

Deadline: Feb 6
Reason as to why?: At first when I saw this, I was thinking: 'Oh looks like another OCT'. While I was still curious, I looked at it in more detail and I then felt the need to enter. I liked the concept and places, plus the fact that you can WRITE and entry was a plus for me since I'm still not very confident in my artwork. And I want to see if I still have that fighting spirit I had when I had when I used to be on a RP Forum.

3. <--- mynameismad's WORKING MAN'S OCT

Deadline: Feb 13
Reason as to why?: Oh boy, for this one, I will finally show the internet the characters that I couldn't find a place for until now. Of course I'm intentionally drawing the things for the OCT in a not so good way, that's what will make this one fun and it might break that confidence barrier that I really need to get rid of!

and last, but not least:

4. <--- Rydin: Project Greed

Deadline: May ??
Reason as to why?: The first OCT that I thought of joining. This one I really want to use one very different character. Hell, with the time needed to get some stuff in, I just might be able to have the right skills for this one!

So there you have it, my list of OCTs that I wish to be a part of this year. Even if I never get into anyone of those, I can't wait for what others put into it to make each one a unique experience!
